Bad news, of course and I'm sorry above all for fans. Being honest, I never liked The Low Network, not even a little... I understand all of that about trying new styles and experimenting, but for an objective review, their project was starting to be known, and their music wasn't as catchy as it should be to make new fans. Dolores' music was a new style also, and, although most of her public is a young public, you can see little children humming her songs, and those children's parents will know her by those children if they don't know her yet, so she's making fans of every age. But Fergal's music wasn't catchy, children could never pay attention to it, so neither would do their parents ( unless they know the group already ) and his public would always be a young public.
If this halt will make them to take a different way to carry on with their music, they will have another chance... they've seen the results of their beginning, they have to see more results than these ones and carry on trying new styles until they find their own. And I'm sure they will Fergal is a professional and splendid musician, if he has returned after five long years of silence, he'll return again, and this time, as he has seen people's support, he won't need five years to do it. And maybe he thinks again about it and decide to return with this band and style and new songs, who knows.... He hasn't got anything to lose... just take the best side of this and trust him

Dolores doesn't have new style... slight differences with The Cranberries, but more of the same...

Dolores sounds more or less like the cranberries, cause she was the biggest part of them... so... she couldnt sound very different than....her self... still u can see the difference in every work of her, along with her age,life,experience... Cristi i can see your point there, you're trying to say that he may deserve (or can do) better... i dont know yet what to think, i wasn't maniac with their music i liked it in some moments were so relaxing...the truth is that with this style is difficult to make a hit... sad but true.. of course i trust fergal and i cannot wait to see him back!!

Paula, of course that Dolores has the same style as The Cranberries, as Litsa has explained, she composed all the songs. Anyway, I wasn't refering to the complet album when I spoke about new style: I think Are You Listening is, mostly, like a second part of Bury The Hatchet. But songs like In The Garden, Black Widow, Stay With Me, Angel Fire or Human Spirit, even though they're still her own style, they have something different from the past, and different from each another also.
Other thing I want to explain is that I'm not trying to find The Cranberries' style in Fergal's music. We've commented it right now, that style was Dolores' style.
Fergal and Dolores are experimenting with new styles, and they both are like strangers now. They can't think "I'm a Cranberry, so people will feed me buying my albums forever". They have to make their own gap in music again, and that's what they're doing. But the difference between him and Dolores is that Dolores' music is catchy, every song can be a hit easily, and she's succeed everywhere, you only have to see the example in Spain, in spite of our radios don't promote her. Whereas Fergal is completely unknown for most of people and, if we know him and his music, it's thanks that we've been following The Cranberries all of these years. If his music doesn't catch people, he won't make his own gap in music. I know Fergal can do it, and he deserves more than what he has got already. He can make it better, I know it. He simply need some time to think about his music and the way he want to carry it.

i don't know what should i say about them except that i would really like to see more . I like all cran spinoffs really and for me all of their music is really supportive and cool and somehow connected. Maybe they are not very commercial but i think that they are doing a good job and well i hope for the best for all of them
