In Russian version of Billboard Magazine (October issue) there's an article about Universal consuming Sanctuary Records and it has an interview with Don Burton about the Sanctuary Records situation. He says that "we are in suspended situation now. We have no lable. We want to promote new single, we have a video for it [I think he is talking about WWWY], but we can't move on. I have no idea about Universal plans, while they don't answer my questions." He also said that Universal will decide should or shouldn't they go on with Dolores' album until November. And he added that "the funny thing is that we wanted to work with an indie label, because The Cranberries worked with Universal, but we wanted to work with a smaller company." All those words were transltaed from Russian by me, so I'm sorry for possible mistakes. I'm sure this article should be in original Billboard magazine. So that means we have to wait to see what's happening with WWWY single and other singles from AYL.  |

great. Universal sucks even before doing anything.
well, they did so much in the past and I was happy Dolores chosen to runaway from them for her solo carreer... but now Sanctuary dies and Universal jumps in.
it's a shame and I hope they'll find another label.

By the way, I think it's quite interesting that Don was mentioned in the article as Dolores' manager, not as her husband. |

I think they shouldn't wait to find another label, because Dolores' carrer promotion is in Stand By. They can do promotion through internet like many bands actually, in her Space or her official page for example, with some updtes, info or anything else but they don't do anything!!  Now a label is not necessary, but managers and rest of the team are not moving a finger to give a push to album promotion  |

I agree she needs to get some promoting going as she is in mid promotion and hopefully will continue with the tour as alot of places not covered yet.
I totally agree that her website and myspace need to be updated asap.
Maybe more TV appearances like she did with the Cranberries.
