i was there, the show was amazing as much as it lasted....the band was in a great mood and they seemed to enjoy alot their last show....i noticed the problem in Salvation when i saw Noel seem annoyed by smth..he was trying to figure out.,..then we realised there was sound problems...they stopped..Dol was so nice she was around the stage trying to keep us up....she even pretented soundchecking at one one point..they were all trying to do somethig..they tried their best...the crew, the band, Don and Dol were all up there...IMO if there was some other band...less proffesional than the Crans they'd be gone....Dol explained they didnt have power and thats so ridiculous for a festival's organisation...it was ridiculous that they left the band wandering up there and dont know what to do....and it was humiliating that they tried to start again with ridiculous thougts...dol started the intro and ferg just stopped playing..he was pissed off....who wouldnt?
the crowd booed..yes..they even threw bottles on stage.....i know they may not booed for the band...but still it was awful....it made the whole athmospere go away...AWFUL guys...awful.....
the band came out after awhile...they played "ridiculous" finally....they played "zombie and they skipped the encore songs and they played Dreams.
i enjoyed it so much, i actually didnt expect they ll come on stage again as their time was "ticking out"
we did enjoy it yes....but im sure the whole good mood everyone had the first 40 minutes disappeared...
they went away really fast after this...once again the crans proved how prof they are and how they respect their crowd. RESPECT to the Crans forever...
i travelled so many km to be at this show and i dont feel cheated or anything....no regrets....ok, im sad i wanted a complete show but if its someone who was responsible sure it wasnt the band.
THANK YOU guys! its been a great tour! come back whenever you want..we ll be there!
ps. the idea of putting Gotan Project with Crans at the same day was not wise at all...who thought about it really!?!?!?!?!?! whats in their head?
