Dolores O'Riordan wins European music award15 Jan 2008 Dolores O'Riordan's debut solo record Are You Listening? has won a European Breaking Border Award, presented by the European Commission. Dolores won the prestigious European Breaking Borders Award for her debut solo album, Are you Listening?. The European Commission initiative aim to celebrate the creative richness and diversity of European contemporary music. The awards are presented to 10 musical groups and artists in recognition of their success in touring and selling records outside their own country. Dolores received the award among such international company as The Fratellis, Cascada, and Basshunter, along with groups from Finland, Denmark, France, Spain, Belgium and Poland. Wow! Wonderful news, i'm so happy for her too! AYL? deserves a lot of recognition...it's a great album. Maybe with things like these more people can be aware of that...and the record labels could open their eyes wider  I hope she can make it to the awards ceremony and some channel broadcast it!
