Nash has two distinct poles of inspiration: her work with Sixpence in the Christian music sphere and her childhood fascination with older female country artists like Tanya Tucker, Loretta Lynn and Patsy Cline.
. In spite of her country allure, Nash never developed an accent, and later in life her interest in pop acts like The Sundays, Innocence Mission and The Cranberries provided more formative material for her songwriting and singing.

I did not know that she had composed "crazy", in fact I only hear it because The Crans sing it (el otro día mientras pintaba en casa mi mamá la escuchó y se puso a tararearla, ahora comprendo!)

I am not really a USA country music fan but Patsy Cline was a singer in the 60's,but her country songs were more mainstream.
Her ballads Crazy(written by Willie Nelson) Sweet Dreams,I fall to pieces" are just absolutely fabulous timeless songs.
She sadly died in a plane crash at the young age of 31  in 1963 and will be remembered as a legend.
There is a movie called Sweet Dreams about her life, makes you cry, not a dry eye in the house
She is an inspiration for many Including Leigh Nash  and Dolores as she had such an amazing voice.
My mom had seen Patsy  as  a young girl in concert live and she was shocked at how Dolores sounded more like Patsy  than most American country singers  ever have;D
She cried when she saw Dolores sing it, said Patsy would have been proud

On August 14th, Fauxliage released their new album titled Fauxliage. Fauxliage is actually an entire album of collaborations between Delerium and Leigh.
You may remember previous collaborations with Delerium, as Leigh sung on their hit single "Innocente (Falling In Love)" from the album Poem and contributed two songs, "Run For It" and "Orbit of Me" to the band's subsequent Chimeraread.

So today the new Fauxliage album is out. Fauxliage is a
collaboration between myself and Bill Leeb and Rhys Fulber from
Delerium. This is a very personal project for me. The words to these
songs were born out of raw emotion, and I am very proud of the
outcome. I listen to these songs and am thankful that time is over
and glad something so beautiful came from it. I like sad songs and
