Dolores related to a powerful banking family in Cork?

I've never heard that before...

Irish Factor: Formed in Limerick in 1990. Lead singer/songwriter Dolores O'Riordan is related to a powerful banking family in Cork. The Irish quartet quickly became one of the world's biggest alternative-rock bands of the decade and rank as one of Ireland's most successful bands of all time. They sold over 45 million albums from 1990 to 2003.
Big Break: 1993's Everybody Else is Doing it, So Why Can't We? Which contain the band's first big hits, Linger and Dreams.
Thanks For: Everybody Else is Doing it, So Why Can't We? (1993),  No Need to Argue (1994),  the single Zombie (from No Need to Argue,) arguably the band's most famous song and one of the angriest of the 90's alt-rock genre.

 Maybe it is the Dolores O'Riordan, the  food scientist from Dublin who is related to the banking family.

Dolores talked about her well to do Uncles in England but this is new.

I don't understand 

I thought that Dolores came from a family of farmers and during her childhood she had some problems after her father's accident... Now this articule says that she is related to a powerful banking family...I'm confused

well why not??? she may have many relatives...and some of them may belong to a  powerful banking family or whatever...(i also have rich uncles...they never ever bought me a chocolate.. ..)

I think we shouldn't trust anything that press says
many times they lie, and many others they make mistakes..
I know Dolores' biography told by herself in many interviews and websites.
I even read that once, in Christmas, she and her brothers and sister went crazy cause Santa Claus had brought them chocolate biscuits and they'd never tasted them before.
That's very sad
