it takes away all the confusion (which i never had anyway)
05TH OCTOBER - SETTING THE RECORD STRAIGHT
To all the fans,
Over the last several years Alex has been approached by management, labels, friends, and finally myself on numerous occasions to release Doloresoriordan.com so I could start my own website with my own name. I have offered to purchase the name, I have offered to let him help design and run the site, but each time I have had the door closed on me. This has absolutely nothing to do with Zombieguide or the wonderful job he has done over the last nine years for the Cranberries, my solo project and all of the fans. It's sad that he has chosen to shut down the site but that is his decision. I wish him all the best in the future.

As you say, there was never a confussion with us 
We've been commenting this several times, the last one in the Non English discussion of this forum, and it seems that people here had very clair their ideas and didn't allow being decived. I'm so proud of our users!!!! 
The letter says everything...
a very different version of the one Alex gave us.
She just wanted Doloresoriordan.com, she had offered Alex her help and she never got an answer, she hadn't got anything against Zombieguide, on the contrary, she was happy with the site and appreciated it a lot, she cares for fans once again and she wishes Alex the best.
While Alex didn't tell us all of this, he just showed us that letter, and closed Zombieguide to "punish" her, a real useless and childish act, because people doesn't need Zombieguide to know and follow Dolores. I knew Zombieguide 2 years ago, because I hadn't got Internet before, and knew Dolores 13 years ago... so I think I didn't need Zombieguide at all  and I guess that many fans either.
Zombieguide was just our place... a great place... but if Alex wanted to close it, that's his decision.
I'd like to know people's version now.
Those ones who went against Dolores and started judging and even insulting her, without knowing her version, without knowing what was behind that letter.
It's sad and shameful that things like this have to happen to know who are the real fans, and who are "fans of the forum" and don't care about Dolores, and don't even feel anything of her.

We are going to take over the world Some very important sources say there will be a community site within a few days By the somehow I could not believe the story Alex tries to sell us. If you are such a fan and your favorite artist want her trademark back you give it back no matter what, but that's my idea. btw Lits@, I'm going to make a page of this. |

i trust Dolores in any case. i didnt believe anything of his words.
i would never believe anyone who causes her troubles..
and he really ruined all that he succeed all these years.
im just sick of those people who were "fans" and suddenly became jurists..
i dont even wanna talk to them again, im so disappointed of some "friends"and not bothered at all that i lost them..
i can't forget that mad night...
