Hi everybody
I admire and idolize to Dolores O`riordan but I am fan of Sarah Wonderful Brightman from 1992,I like a lot the voice,music,personality and their big and beautiful eyes.

Well I have them a new important...

Soprano SARAH BRIGHTMAN will team up with Chinese singer LIU HUAN to perform the official theme song at the opening ceremony of the Beijing Olympics.
The odd couple will perform a duet, which will end the hour-long ceremony on Friday night (08Aug08) at the National Stadium.

The theme tune is such a big secret, ceremony officials have refused to release the title of the track.

It's not the first time British singer Brightman has been chosen to sing an Olympic theme - she dueted with Jose Carreras for the 1992 anthem Amigos Para Siempre at the Barcelona Games in Spain.

Hi everybody I have excellent news of Sarah

New Age titan Sarah Brightman will each release holiday albums this fall. Brightman's "A Winter Symphony" arrives November 4 2008 via Manhattan/EMI.

"A Winter Symphony" is highlighted by versions of John Lennon and Yoko Ono's "Happy Christmas (War is Over)," "Silent Night," "In the Bleak Midwinter" and a duet on "Ave Maria" with Fernando Lima.

Also featured are Neil Diamond's "I've Been This Way Before" and the ABBA instrumental "Arrival," reconfigured as a vocal piece for the first time ever.

The 10-track set includes a version of "Silent Night" sung in Gaelige, as well as the traditional "O Come, O Come, Emmanuel." First single "Trains and Winter Rains" hits U.S. radio on Monday (Sept. 29).

This projects are likely to be big sellers in the fourth quarter. Last year, Josh Groban's "Noel" exploded out of the gate on its way to becoming the top-selling album of 2007. It has sold more than 3.7 million copies in the United States so far, according to Nielsen SoundScan.

OMG! Yesterday's concert was AWESOME! Seems that this new tour is completely different from the previous ones! Sarah just opened the Symphony Tour in Monterrey a couple of days ago followed by another one in Guadalajara and one more at Mexico City's Palacio de los Deported, after the huge success an additional date was opened for Mexico City which will be today! The stage consists in reflections of an under-stage displaying 3D images at 3 huge "mirrors" hanging from the top of the venue, this helps to create awesome landscapes for each song involving the audience to feel like in different places! I've been reading some reviews and seems that this is the most rock-ish tour so far since songs like Fleurs Du Mal and The Phantom Of The Opera are played with full band arrangements, no orchestra this time but she uses playback recordings, Alejandro Saffina replaces Bocelli at Canto della Terra and he joins Sarah at POTOpera and Sarai Qui while Fernando Lima duets Sarah in Pasión! The FX used for Hijo de la Luna and a previously unheard version of Little Red Riding Hood are definetly huge higlights in the show! The concert consist in a long story made up of other tales including The Nutcracker! Since most of the show is based on the things displayed on the "3D screens" seems that the seats on the center of the venue are the best place for enjoying the show no matter how far you are, side seats are not able to see the FX clearly and you cannot see Sarah while the "mirrors" are lifted up according to some reviews, anyway, she's leaving Mexico City on Monday to continue with the rest of the Tour in America, try to catch her show, you'll like it a lot, one of the best of the last years! If you want to catch her today, resellers outside the venue are leaving $2,000 MXN tix in just $1,000 MXN (Which is A sections, the closest ones to the stage) and the C ones from $1,000 MXN to just $300 MXN so if you can... GO AND SEE HER TONIGHT! See you there! I'll upload some pix and vids next week.

¡WOW! the concert of Sarah Brightman of the 8 of November was...¡¡Incredible!!
a thousand times better that the tour HAREM in 2003-2004.

Was so wonderful,incredible and with a lot fantasy is the best that I have seen in many years,Sarah song more of 21 songs and the concert last more of two hours,Mexico loves to Sarah and Sarah ¡Loves Mexico!

This tour was recorded soon to DVD and in 2009 will be release ¡¡¡Yes!!!

I've always heard nice words about Sarah, first time I knew of her was when people compared it to one of my favourite singers, Tarja Turunen ( lyric voices but nothing to do with each other btw... )
I have heard some of her songs, including the new ones, and her voice is sweet and her style is unique, because it's a mixture of different styles and that's what usually catches my attention in a singer or band
however her music never caught me at all and I gave it up... maybe I have missed the best of her stuff.

Tiene mas de 30 albums,ha experimentado todo tipo de generos musicales,fue bailarina,actriz de teatro,ahora incursiona en el cine es una mujer increiblemente talentosa,creativa y entusiasta siempre esta buscando hacer nuevas cosas

Por cierto en los conciertos de Sarah se implemento una nueva tegnologia revolucionaria que seguramente mas adelante mas artistas,cantantes y bandas implementaran aqui una explicacion del Set de Sarah en su tour 2008:

Well I just saw the concert in Mexico City, and I must say this concert is better experienced on a theater like venue, you need to be in front and as low as possible to get the full effect of the holographic sets.

I'll try to explain this as easy as I can, because the effects are so high-end while they are actually based on really simple precepts. Basically the holographic images get projected on a part of the floor of the stage that is sunken in, a kind of pit. The "screens" are strong transparent plastic sheets, that are pulled really tight so the reflected images are as clear as possible. As they are tilted what the public sees is the reflection of the projected images of the floor. Hence when Sarah and the dancers sink into the stage you get to see them "fly" on the stage. Images are projected with 8 powerful projectors, that are carefully focused so images are as crystal clear as possible.

Now sometimes there are things we see and things we don't. Why sometimes you can see through the screen while projecting and sometimes you can't also while projecting. Simple the brightest object will be shown, so for example if the band gets a stronger light than the projection light you will see the band behind the screen, if the band is in darkness the projection will be seen instead.

I would have loved to go on the backstage experience and get to see this technology closer, but sadly it was just too expensive for my current financial status. It still is a breathtaking spine-chilling, heart-pumping show. Sarah is the best!
