excellent thread!

I like mike, always did.
proof: this used to be my avatar on zg:

Of course, he doesn't go crazy on stage, but who cares? on various live videos you can see him smile, like he ust thought of a good joke,(only if you look carefully as the cameras don't focus on him that often),I think he enjoyed playing with the band. (whereas Noel always looks so uncomfortable,like he 'd rather be anywhere else, doing anything else, poor thing, but that's not the subject

)
Sometimes I wish he had more of the attention, so we would know more about him,and thus appreciate him as he deserves, but his "shyness" towards the media was a very wise attitude, considering all the bad press Dolores had for speaking out her mind!
Now I only wish he had music-related projects that we could talk about,any news at all that he's alive and well?
anyways, I don't forget Mike, Whenever I think about the cranberries, and I don't like him any less, perhaps even more...
perhaps also because he plays the bass and, there's something with the sound of that instrument that goes directy though my bones, I don't know how to explain.
mostly, I feel grateful That he started that band that was to become the cranberries, Kerrie you did well to remind us of that fact! thank you again for starting this thread, long live to it!
