ok then, lets just have our own opinion. for me 2007 was a good year for Her.
artists with no promotion at all can't do anything..and even those who have HUGE record labels can't really sell records..(who buys cds now???)...she still does. and i never talked for a massive debut album...
but after a leaking in this hit-storm modern world i was satisfied with what she did and what she sold.maybe She and her team wasnt. but i can't know this for sure...neither you do.
i believe dol isnt a dreamer..she knows whats going on nowadays...i have to say this for last time.
im glad that she is still here and she is so fresh and she still can affect people around the world. thats a big thing... and i think this makes her happy also.

anyway,,,i hope 2009 will be better and i hope she will talk soon about 2007 to solve the mystery.
i only hope she is happy, i pray for this every day.

I think you can see everything reflected on the tour. Let's see: Most of the tour was done on very small places BUT they were sold out BUT Are You Listening? songs weren't that acclaimed.

I don't really care what the press says, just think one thing, when they say just shit about Dolores the first thing you make is come and say "He's a stupid! he dones't know wnything! #$%#$%#!" But when they says good things about she most of you are agree, and what's the difference? it's just a personal opinion by the person who made reviews, and the fact the they say good things doesn't means that they know what they are saying.

Not a good year, but not a bad one.

i agree about the critics Juan! you re so right. they re people and they have their own opinion.so we shouldnt care much. of course i would detest those who wanna make a personal attack in bad and unrespectful way to Her (or to any artist) there are some pathetic ones.
i dont give a damn about the critics to be honest.
i only care about people's reaction. and so far it was more than good.

totally agree binti..even huge labels have bad promotion for the artist, (i can tell that for duran duran, who are on scene for 30 years now, and have been under large labels, last year they released new album, in production with Timbaland&Justin and the album didnt sell well, but when Madonna came out with her production with timba and justin it was soooooo BIG just cause she has the best people aroudn her and label will rather promote her then duran, which is sad, and its even more sad when people ask are they still recoding and singin, so sad, well this was just example that label REALLY HAS THEIR FINGERS IN PROMOTION)..
I think that Dol did amazing job on her own, and those things that happen, with cancelling the tour isnt that happen only to her..so i really can't blame her for that..and yes it was the best year for me too..and nothing cant change that..

I read one review about the concert.... in Amsterdam or Brussel, can't remember right, but it was in dutch

the reviewer himself didn't like it, but he also wrote about how the audiance reacted (and ofcourse we reacted very well ) So it turned out as a pretty good review anyway...
Now thats a good writer:P

and yes the sale of the album cant be seen today as it was years and years ago..I hate it nowdays cause of the burning things or downloading..but i, we or her can't stop this..nobody cant..and i only wonder where will this go..and how it will finish..so if she sold out 600000 copies it's amazing as repeating again label didnt promote it as it shud...

I never said Dolores is a dreamer...
but having dreams and illusion in what you do, and wanting it to be the way you plan, is something everybody else does... and things weren't the way Dolores' planned for sure!
OK it was a good year, Dolores achieved a great success in spite her album wasn't correctly promoted, it could have been much worse counting with the fact that many singers stay in the way cause people don't buy albums and don't go to concerts nowadays...
but, the same way it could have been worst, we have to think it could have been better too.
Sure Dolores didn't want to get ill and cancell so many shows, sure she didn't want her label to be closed, sure she didn't want Zombieguide to be closed... sure she thinks her album would have been received in a better way if promotion had gone the way it's going now:
Announcements, a cool website, a more dynamic myspace, forums, participation from fans... that's what she needs! Internet is a very important promotion tool nowadays, she needs to keep fans, but also to catch new ones, and publishing an album and leaving it to its own luck is not the better way to achieve success.
Let's think of it from her point of view and not only from our own, let's talk like persons and not only like fans, let's see the good and the bad part in everything if it's not too much asking, ok? ^^
2007 was a great year, everyone agree in this, but things could have gone better for Dolores, and people like me and many others, who want the best for her, know it

yea she is good and well i think she needs all that to be better i dont know what will be but i really only expect a good music from her. I mean well i don't know her music will for me always be special no matter what
