Your Favourite Cranberries Album

Although I've grown with this music and every album is special for me for some reason, if I have to choose, my favourite one will always be Everybody else is doing it, so why can't we?, in spite of my favourite song ( in and out of The Cranberries ) is Animal Instinct.
EEIDISWCW is simply an absolutely perfect album, as the other ones of course, but something makes it more special than the rest.
The reasons... I can't explain with simple words...
Besides of the so many memories of beautiful moments that it brings me, I have to comment the special own essence it has, an essence that other albums haven't got.
It's easy to see in the style of music, so relaxing, the percussions, the lyrics, so different from the lyrics of other albums... I don't know if it's that young nerve that causes that evasion to the early years what makes this album so perfect, but somehow, it's actually the most beautiful and perfect album I've ever heard, together with Are you listening.

If I have to choose one, mine would be NNTA. I agree with you in the sense that every album has something special for me but NNTA was the one that touched me inside the most. This album is completely full of brilliant songs (both lyrics and music), and some arrangements broke my heart (Dreaming my dreams, Everything I said and Daffodil lament, for example).

I can't explain with more accuracy by writing... Ask me the reason in the concerts.

My favourite song ever... that will be Dreaming My Dreams... cause thats my wedding song

hard to tell.. but I picked EEIDISWCW? cause it's first album I bought by Crans... Every album is special in it's way..

Oh... I forgot to add this. My favourite songs per album are:

EEIDISWCW - Put me down, I still do, Waltzing back.
NNTA - Daffodil lament, Everything I said, Twenty one.
TTFD - Bosnia, Cordell, Electric blue.
BTH - Fee fi fo, Dying in the sun, Loud and clear.
WUASTC - Carry on, The concept, Time is ticking out.

It's hard to tell for me too but I voted for WUASTC just because I think that this album is sooo underrated by many people.

mmm...it is a very difficult question...
really...i don't know..but i think that EEIDISWCW and NNTA have a nice songs...
but if i have to choose, I choose NNTA because it has slow songs
and more rapid songs and with more force
But really, in the first disc..Dolores transmits many feelings with her voice. I love it

for me also...every album has special meaning for different reasons...
EE is the one that made me cry so so soooo much when it came to my hands...
very soon NNTA..well this one is the most special to me...i think i adore it by the first second to the end...equal....its a diamond....i grew up listening to it every single day for years and years...
so i'll vote for NNTA....
TTFD was a dark period...it comforted me alot when it came out i was freaking out when people were telling that the band broke up, the singer was messed up etc...scary things..i was so dipressed..then it came out...i first bought the vinyl i put it in the 2nd side...it was IJSJL and i was like wow this can't be them...was so different..i was so proud back then...
many favourite songs in there like WYG like im still remembering and Cordel...so emotional...
in BTH things were different...it contains Animal Instinct my most fav song i think so far...(well at least along with So cold in ireland) the band was powerful...was the first time i started being involving to them through the internet...i learnt alot of things...that ic ouldnt before and yeah i saw them live... could easily be my favourite...wuastc...whoa...so many great moments during the wuastc period...i enjoyed this era so much....full of new stuff....i know many people doesnt like it but it always cheers me up...i apreciate it so much and i even find comfort in it...
i appreciate every album while its so personal...its all about her soul and thoughts...nothing more original than this....i dont care for other lyricist being better or whatever....for me dol writes the greatest lyrics cause she writes them by her soul....
well NNTA has the first place always...the other are very close also...
this album is a legent...

as for Are You Listening!!! i could easily place it between NNTA and TTFD....
i adore it so much! it has similarities with all the albums.

though it is a different sound,...its all about her...

I voted EEIDISWCW, I still listen to some songs of it every day
I hesitated on voting for NNTA, as it's the one that brought me into the cranberries.For the other albums, it varies in time. Lately I was in a WUASTC period, now I'm beginning a TTFD era again...

The Cran albums are ALL gold to me, I love them all BUT on this thread, i will say WAKE UP & SMELL THE COFFEE. The reason? Because its got the classic Cranberries sound I fell in looooooooove with from the very beginning BUT its an album where they are confident, happy & sure of themselves & their talents. A+++++ for WUASTC!!!!!!!!!!!!!

NNTA is my favorite, because the first Cranberries-song I ever heard was ode to my family. And from that moment I felt in love  with that special voice. And I became a fan...........

of course "To The Faithful Departed" ...i love this album...cos is different and is a very omportant part of my life, but the best album is "No Need To Argue"..."Everybody..." is most original, "Bury The Hatchet" is the best mixed album and "WUASTC" is like a "Cran tutti frutti sounds"

After thinking it over and over, I have to choose BTH. It was the first Cranberries album I ever listened to. I was just twelve, an almost-teenager beginning to re-discover music... Don't know, it's just so special to me...
